CR3 Pro discontinued and replaced with slim proto?

The CR3 Pro which uses RATER has been discontinued and replaced with a chip that dosent use RATER (Slim Proto)? Im super confused. RATER was an awesome tweaking program for the lazy. If there not being used anymore that means RATER will only be used for the remainder of the CR3 out there and R-Jtag only?

What happend? I thought this was the fast method to glitch all the phat consoles. Way better then RGH2. Did they replace it with something i havent heard about? How do you get good boot times with phat consoles with split CB's?

wouldnt be a bad idea to keep a cr3 pro fakepost round for testing purposes on broken consoles.as far as the proto chips go,its so good out the package it dont need ratar.i imagine ratar would add alot of cost to the board also,something 80% of people bitch about already mind you,lol

So just wait for the code to be finalised and chips available.

Just wonder why you would discontinue a product when there is nothing to replace it straight away, maybe there was a problem getting components for the R-JTAG chip or something.
