Hi guys I need some help with a install on a Corona V4 motherboard 4gb console , here is what I have a CR3 Pro starter kit
Post Fix Adapter version 1 ..... Ps I have done 2 Trinity consoles and this is my first attempt on a Corona

What I don't have is QSB version 3 and I wanted to know if I could wire the chip directly onto the board using the wire diagrams for a Version 1 or 2 coronna board , like mentioned in the following link
http://team-xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=99897.

Please note I'm in South Africa and to get consumables for the RGH is quiet an effort all help and advice will be highly appreciated

Thanks Martin , Please could you advise me on which would be the ideal chip to purchase for the Corona version 4 motherboard , I have already read the nand of the mother board with the SD QSB and all looks good

Ps this is the Corona 4gb console ... I do have a Cool Runner Version C but I'm not happy with using it as I know I might not get good glitch times and I have to purchase a Upgrade QSB with crystal .

Thanks in advance for your help

Thanks for the quick response Martin I have already dumped the nand using the SD reader QSB you have advised me to use ..... I just need to order the CR3 Pro with Fake Post .... once I have received all items I will take a picture and post so you guys can confirm that is all I will require to continue the glitch .... PS will I also be requiring thermal paste ?

The difference between the two is simple.

Version 1 basically gives you access to the post out from under the chip and gets you a point to solder to, the version 2 give you the same thing but has several soldering points where you can specify the length of the wire to that point, so basically you don't need to add extra cable, just solder to the points specified and it will do that for you.

Nothing wrong with the v1. Perfect for CR3-Pro use as you'll probably only need to keep the POST_OUT at 10cm. If you need it longer, nothing stops you from using a longer wire.
