That looks about right, unless they are the 4gb consoles, in which case the demon install is a lot harder to acheive, and does not work to read/write the 4gb nand.

Agreed totally. If it's a 4G things get a lot harder when it comes to installing a Demon. Not a noob task in the slightest.

I'll finish my guide soon on how to do it so everyone can see what it takes.

I havnt tried it yet, I have read dginx's guide for it, and the wiring seems easy enough, it is removing the tiny resistors and adding the 1 tiny resistor that I can see noobs screwing up. it would be a good way to convert a board to a 16mb nand, using a squirt 16mb chip, as it is just a nand chip, if your 4 gb nand failed. if you dont have rework equipment.

dude i was helping a guy a while back and he didnt speak a word of english and he really screwed his v1 corona up BAAAD. omg I never seen so many missing components from an x-clamp removal so he was missing like 4 or 5 caps and 2 or 3 resistors and i had a spare v1 laying around so i took all the caps and off and measured them and put them back on the board with just my 2 soldering guns (2=easier) and i got really good at it like i can barely tell which ones i take off now because they look factory when i put them back on. he also knocked off a fuse near c5r11 and busted about 3 or 4 traces but after a few weeks of help he said he finally got it booting again but i dont see how cuz that thing was a train wreck before and when he got finished the pics he took looked really shotty in some areas.

I know this post is kinda irrelevant but THIS is the thread I helped him on and there are lots of horrifying pictures in there so viewer discretion is advised...

A guide on how to make demon work with 4gb nand or how to convert the console to 16mb? I did my first conversion yesterday, took about 40 minutes.
