I'm just trying to get a list together for an RGH on my Corona V2 slim. I want to have a dual NAND so that I can still play Xbox Live.

Will the new CR4 that is coming out support dual NAND, or do I need a Demon?

Thanks for reading.

I appreciate the offer, playingmax, but I really want to do the dual NAND myself. To me, the most fun part of modding is the modding, not owning a modded console. How do I go about the process of converting my 4 GB to 16 GB? Once I do that, can I just dump the nand (with the 4GB corona reader, of course), glitch my console, install Demon, etc., like I would with any slim?

It's a highly complex operation requiring lifting a BGA chip, presion soldering and creating a new 16M NAND from the 4G one. Not at all for a beigner modder. It's a one way street. There is no turning back. In fact, as far as I know, not many people have actually do it.

here is a step by step process.

1. dump 4gb nand.
2. retrieve cpu key.
3. Make carona 16MB retail image.
4. fit 16MB nand to mobo.(requires a BGA table to remove 4gb nand)
5. move resistors so the console recognises a 16mb nand.
6. write the new 16MB image.
7. Make sure it boots.
8. Continue with standard glitch process.

With all of that being said, moving the resistors and replacing the nand are a pain in the ass, and should not be attempted by a beginner, as you will more than likely destroy the console.

I probably shouldn't try that as my first attempt at modding a slim. I'll just dual nand a motherboard that already has the 16 MB NAND. Thanks to all of you. I appreciate the help.
