Hi guys,

I installed a CR4 the other day on a Trinity, it glitches and boots but the boot times are not that great. I have found the best boot times I think I can find but they are still pretty high ~30 seconds. How would I improve this, would using the shielded cable for cpu rst improve the boot times? When trying the cap resistors do you try each one with the same dip settings or would changing dip and trying all resistors on each setting? It seems to me like a trial and error guessing game. What is the best times achieved with a trinity slim? Any opionions / experiences I would appreciate if you shared. I installed many CR Rev C's on trinities and have gotten great boot times. I would have used one of them but I cannot find them anywhere.

Try the cap with the "22" label. The IPEX or shielded cable might work, but glue it down to the mobo or you might rip CPU_Rst.

take off your xclamp and get a close up of your white cable , see where it sits

also have you tried it in the cage with the disc drive and hard drive in place

Try combinations like 2,3 or 3,4.... Also try together with capacitors

That point is fine I know it for a fact, I dont have the xbox anymore to get a photo of that point.

Yes correct, I had specfic questions too about the shielded wire if you read earlier on. Yeah hopefully it will i had great results with cr rev c's with trinitys in the past pity they discontinued them. I should prob post my results there as the default settings people have tried seem to work alot but my settings were different until i got it to boot. Thanks.
