Hi guys,

So here is my very first Xecuter Demon install.

Console Type: Trinity
Programmer Used: NAND-X, & Demon
NAND Size: 16
Dashboard version: e.g 2.0.16747
CB Version: 9188
Screenshot of NAND details from J-Runner: n.a
Image of the CR4 XL
Images of close-up soldering to motherboard (attach images to your post)
Detailed Description of the Problem
Was the console working before you started: Y
Do you get a green debug light appear on the CR4 XL chip every 4-5 seconds: Y

So this is what I did.

Removed Coolrunner Rev C
Flashed to retail nand (nand-x)
Console is working
Installed CR4 XL
Created a 16747 image in JRunner
Flashed image with nand x
Console instabooting all the time
(I absolutely love the CR4s speed)
Installed Demon Drivers to PC
Rebooted PC
Set Demon switch to pc
Tested Demon by Micro Usb
Demon working
Set switch to XB
Installed the demon
Connected demon to pc (mini-usb)
Flashed Xbox 360 flash to Retail with my original nand dump
Selected CR4
Flashed RGH flash with the updflash

Now when I try to boot my console it only does the BLEEP sound and the rol doesn't light up and the fan doesn't spin. I can keep pressing either the eject button or pwr button but nothing works. I tried the RGH Side and Retail SIDE.

I didn't clean up the flux yet :(.

Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks already!

I'm sorry if I forgot anything. Just tell me and I'll add it in

JRunner Log: http://TinyUrl.com/jrlogxd

I am now going to clean up everything and fix the D6 connection

Touched up all the points, but now I can no longer switch DEMON AND STOCK Nands. The sync button isn't working and the Demon RW button isn't working. The led on the rw doesn't light up

Updated Images (touched up points)

In an album :)

Update: Fixed! It appeared to be a tiny solder splash... I want to thank Xecuter for their awesome products, and everyone who helped me!

Looks pretty good. The D6 point looks like it may not be connected. Did you check for continuity on the demon? Did you try cleaning the flux and check for solder splash's? Maybe clean the whole area where demon is installed and adjacant. Then see if it boot's

Thank you for the reply, I am going to have to try that later on. I'll keep the thread updated

Touch up d0 too...

Next time group the images in an album, pain clicking each one in turn! Still dont see the log (on a mobile though so easily missed)

For diagnosis, you can flash stock to demon. Rules out your image.

Update the fw on your demon to 1.04.

Check for continuity on the demon point's. Touch multimeter to demon point to adj. resistor or stock nand and see if they are all connected.

Use this as a guide. One of your points or more is bad.

Also maybe reseat your cable's too.
Stupid question, maybe... But how do you update your firmware on the demon? I have downloaded the 1.04 bin... Sorry for being such a noob :(

Sorry got It programmed, now let me test if it boots
So I tried to boot but it still keeps bleeping... No fan spinning up or ROL Working... So I tried writing my XeBuild created nand to the demon side and again it said: manufacturer for code AF not found.... Now I am going to check for continuity

I checked everything on the Demon on continuity... Everything seems to be good, I even checked the ribbon cables, but all good... Do you have another solution?

Its got to be a solder splash somewhere. Check the nand on the demon itself for any stray solder on the pin's.

Otherwise try the alt wire install for the suspect point's on the demon.

Your soldering really does look good. i have had this happen to me with the same error and it turned out to be one of the qsb point's on the demon. I did a alt wire install to its adj, resistor on mobo and also cleaned some solder splash on the demon's nand that may have bridged the nand point's.

Otherwise i don't have anymore suggestion's beside's remove it all very carefully and start over.

Sometimes, excessive flux can creep under QSBs and cause problems. I've seen this on more than one occasion. Only remove the Demon as a last resort because they are a pain in the ass to do so and easier to rip off solder points.

Something is shorted out if you just get the beep beep!! In the same row that you get 5 volts for the CR-4 you should be able to test for basic 3.3 stand by voltage
I dont see a picture of your voltage header ..You removed the REv-c so the old 3.3 pin you removed to power the rev-c thats 3.3 test it do you have power
Any of the small 10.00 ohm resistors x-8 that test differently any incomplete connections in that area can also cause what you are describing

Nowhere
i would get some wax paper, and use it to slide it under the demon points as you heat the point with an iron, and slide the wax under it one point at a time.works great.and id start over,as krafter said its prolly points under the qsb where you cant see em,bridged.
