ANSWERED CR4 XL and DemoN with QSB install kit?

I have a phat 360 with Jasper v3 and Lite-on drive. My updated kernel version is now: 2.0.16767.0
I'd like to install a CR4 XL with Demon for dual-nand functionality.

I've been doing a lot of reading. However, I need to ask; do I even need to buy a QSB install kit?

My guess is no since the demon can read/write the nand and already comes with an external adapter for this.
But I'd like for someone to confirm this please.

Need. No but they are worth every penny. Makes the install a lot neater looking. Some people like them some don't. For people who have not done a install before (if you can solder) it will take the guess work out of what wires goes where. Even with all the guides still see a lot of questions with wire installs on which wire goes where.

Ok, well i'm gonna do this without the QSB kit then. And if I succeed, i'll post detailed pictures here of my particular setup for those of might need it.
