hey guys are there any fakes reported for CR4 yet?

how can i know ones i have are legit? since there is no longer the TX sticker in the box or a serial number on the chips?
i just got another batch of Cr4 and the wires in these boxes are a bit thinner then ones in last batch and also the wires are not in plastic there just in the box.
also the Post Bit jumper is in a different position as well. Old Batch 10ohm new ones are set at 0ohm

Soldered on wires are the new batch (Thinner and off colour, melt like demon wires.)
Non-Soldered are the old Batch (wires match old coolrunner, proto, cr3)

All my cr4 had postbit on 0 ohm. I also had some without postbit jumper or with missing wire. And as was said, they shouldnt be cloned

I believe xecuter said or ubergeek said they will never be able to clone these cr4 because the code is private set I believe so they never clone the cr3 pro or proto so idk or r-jtag

Let's hope they are real. The code is probably safe but the hardware could still be cloned, maybe with another code or maybe blanks and non working ones? They doesn't have to work, cause you'll never know it until it's to late.

Agree. The chips are solid, the code is protected hence Tx didn't feel the need to add serials. The first batch had post bit on 10Ohm, doesn't mean they didn't correct this on second batch. But I did hear of Tx clones that looked like pros or protos (I forget which) but had standard Cr3 code.

I got mine from X-Consoles, and the wires and jumper are exactly as you stated. I doubt official re-sellers would sell clones. Those are probably just slight manufacturing edits that were made after the first initial batch, quite normal with almost every product!
