Ok so i have this problem and i cant seem to find a cause.

Did another CR4 install on a corona V2, got it all tuned up and working great, so i thought..............

This is what happens.
I get it all tuned with the wifi,HDD,DVD even the case so it does not change the wave shape. get it booting solid 1111111111211111111111111211111111111
Then the next day i go to use it and all hell breaks loose and it is very inconsistent.
so i try and tune it again, get it all working consistent again.
after a day or to it goes to sh*t again. i have ben through this 4 times now. WTF is going on.

Now just for the record i am not doing a few boots and then stamping it as done and over with. after i tune that damn thing once again i will sit and boot it 75+ times before i call it good and i am not exaggerating literally i will test it that many times to make sure and yes i do it with it all back together wifi, HDD DVD drive everything when testing.
I does not get moved or something new that's electronic next to it that could cause a issue.
Nothing changes around or in it besides the consoles boot times itself

I am about to write the retail IMG back and call it quits unless anyone has some advice. please help!

Advice is post pictures of the install. I'd bet you have some wires bridged somewhere that only occurs when you put everything back in the cage.

well i guess i should know better and still post pics of the install but simply do not have a camera at the moment. it is not the install or soldering. the console does not stop working in anyway it is the boot times that change and it really does not take long to glitch at that. its just not working as a CR4 should. one day its consistent and the next its not. console still boots and runs without issues.

so lets say that there is a bridge somewhere.... this would cause it to not boot at all.

I have done several Corona models all versions with CR-4 and 2 out the fifteen gave me some trouble
One of them corona V-6-not E-slim the best score was on post bit 100 and a 20 cap it achieved 870-score and after the console was assembled and done, a couple days later
the console failed to start.. I played around with different locations in my house finally it booted Xell. And then after that it started, but was a noticeably slower to start
I went back to Rater and moved to post bit 10 and as of now its the fastest starting slim ever But something did change.
And the second one 4=gig E-slim I could not get past 750 until I did low loss cable from slim proto and underside QSB..first pass 800-second pass 890 I thought all is well now
But after the covers were installed the console would stop debuging no cycle I call it (stick the glitch) I have seen this before on other machines and would just live with it.
But this one was really bad and after getting frustrated and 20 plus Rater runs I returned to the blue wire and I could get 800 score But when starting to a TV it would just not start sometimes
Ok so now I installed a different CR-4 not changing location or wire lengths and 0 post no caps achieved 780 score with only 1- out 40 starts sticking It is not the fastest but it always starts.
Point being the chip was the problem I have had issues with slim Proto falling out of tune after a week or month on corona V-6 all bad chips probably 5 out of 30 chips were trouble

StuckNvagas- i really appreciate you taking the time to ACTUALLY READ my post. this info makes me feel a bit better. so i guess if it boots in under 2-3 cycles i can be happy with it.

haha stick the glitch. i like that
