Good afternoon!

Hope you all can help me out. This is my first time modding the Xbox 360 this way. The Xbox is unable to glitch or be detected in Jrunner. I have followed the guides as best as possible and I know I am missing the last step. Hopefully you can point me in the right direction. (xbox still boots to dashboard!)

1) Corona V3
2) JRP v2.0
3) Pretty sure its 16mb (Corona V3 250GB)
4) Latest retail dash
5) no sure
6) No Nand details, Xbox 360 not detected
7)

8) n/a
9)

10)

I have to take it apart again for pictures from the bottom. I attached the yellow wire to the post-fix point on the bottom, but its not attached to the CR4. I assumed I had to install the post-fix adapter to get that point (red wire)

I may have the wrong QSB for the programmer, but everything plugs in fine. Programmer is recognized in machine, but still cannot detect xbox. I have been reading every guide and not sure exactly what to do after the CR4 is installed. I assume it should boot up in Xex menu but getting fuzzy on the details. Any help or pointers would be appreciated!

Thanks.

12) Yes - still does
13) Debug light turns on when box is powered for about 2-3 seconds and turns off
14) Red always - debug on for 2-3 seconds.

your soldering needs touched up with flux and what programmer are u using r/w to the nand and u have to install the drivers for the programmer( u have to get the cpu key and build a hacked dash in order to boot fsd or xexmenu

I am using the JR Programmer v2. Do I need to touch up the soldering on the QSB? I disabled driver signing for the JR Progammer drivers and it seemed to have installed. No longer shows up with exclamation point.

Thanks!

You have the wrong qsb for starters. You have the v1 NAND qsb with the built in oscillator. You should be using the v2 with the cr4.

Can you take a pic of the nand itself on the mobo? Just to confirm mother board revision.

Thats what I get for ordering on Aliexpress. I ordered the Corona QSB v3 and got the v1 version. Is the v3 version the correct one? Or should I just try soldering directly to the points. Thanks!

I turned off dip 8 and no luck. I am going to remove the QSB and probably go directly to the pads, or wait for the correct QSB to come in. How do I know if it glitches correctly? Blinking green light? Does it boot into any different firmware. Also if I go directly to the pads can I still use the JR-Programmer through the CR4 XL and not the QSB?

Thanks!

Have you bridged the necessary resistors if the resistor is not there as i cant see as the black earth wire is covering it.

As you need to have R2C10 bridged to be able to read the nand.

I did not mention the install of the CR4 i was on about to read the nand nothing to do with the CR4.

And if you zoom the pics up there looks to be some bridging on the QSB.

The first thing you need to do is read your nand. From what I've read you havent done that yet. Forget about the CR4 for a while. You will need to bridge resistors as tomma66 stated above to do so. You need to read nand, write ecc, boot to xell, grab keys, build new nand image (freeboot), then write freeboot. As I see it, you're at the read nand stage. Without writing the ecc you will never glitch. If you're using the JR Programmer remove that qsb (very carefully) and direct wire it as stated above.

Ok that makes much more sense. I knew I was missing a step with reading the ECC. I think I am going to wait till the actual v3 corona QSB comes in. I was able to remove the old one with solder wick, then SMD hot air gun. I then added solder to the points and tested continuity, so nothing looks bridged. My R2C10 has a resistor in its place so I am assuming that I do NOT have to bridge it. Do I have to bridge the other two points that are missing? (r2c7, r2c6).

Here is what the board looks like now so I hopefully be in good shape. Thanks for all the help you guys rock.

@point k on the qsb you have 2 nand points bridging. just add flux and retouch with your iron - dont add anymore solder

no resistor bridging needed for this...

have you installed the jr programmer drivers?

Thanks for all the help! I ended up taking off that QSB. I don't know if it was a fake or not, but all the points were connected when I tested for continuity. So I manually soldered the points, the xbox comes back on and works fine. When I am in Jrunner and I hit read Nand, nothing happens! Any suggestion?

The points look a little sloppy. But I tested and points around and none of them show as touching.
