CR4 XL install with QSB V3 on Phat Jasper 512

Ok so I purchased my CR4XL and QSBs. I am looking at the board and I would like some clarifications on the install. I am not seeing any detailed pictures of the contact points for these QSBs. I do not know anything about an AUD Clamp. What it is how to install it or if I need it. Can someone please help me?

There is a C3B2 spot and right next to it a R4B24 spot. They are really tiny. Which one does the finger of the QSB solder to? Does it matter if they bridge?

I would also like the location points for the other two QSBs. Do I need to tape the tip of the JTag ALT V 2 QSB so it does not make contact or do I have to make contact? I see conflicting information. The only videos I am seeing online are using a different QSB that has some kind of ribbon connection.

I also have some kind of covering over the DIP switches. Do I just take that off with a razor blade to adjust the DIP settings?

I am interested in doing the rater and fine tuning the install as well. Information on that would be helpful.

Solder it on the same header as the usual jtag QSB. The other end even tell you Q2N1 and Aud_Clamp wich should give you some clue.

All other QSBs are documented, just search for the information.

Ok I really appreciate you taking time to respond but there was an obvious misunderstanding. I went through the link you provided. They do not show detailed pictures for the contact points for each of the QSBs. It really skips alot. And before one of you starts in with research it yourself and dont be a lazy burden to our community BS, I have done research. I have watched any video I can find on Youtube. I have read seven sins tutorial. I have read the supposed install guide on this site and there is information missing. That is why I am asking. Are there any pictures you could show? Or maybe even just location points if they are labeled so I can identify them.

In the tutorial that you provided a link for there is conflicting information on the picture. It says solder to QN21 and it also says tape it so there is no connection. I see some people taping the end of the Jtag Alt board and others soldering it. I see a picture that says you no longer need to solder the tip of that QSB.

Aud_clamp is a type of jtag wiring, which is suggested because argon/rol jtag causes issues with the rol. So depending on the jtag qsb you have, if v1 connect a wire to the spot that would be connected to the resistor, and if you have a v2 qsb, bridge points 2 and 3, and hook the wire to the pad. solder the other end of the wire to the right pin on q2n1. then make an r-jtag aud_clamp xell and image. it isnt rocket science, and the guide covers all of this with images.

The details are in the name of the thread. I have a Jasper 512 non elite phat console. I am just asking for a few clarifcations. Is that seriously so difficult for a support thread?

Thank you very much. I thought I had seen detailed pictures before. I lost my bookmarks and did not have it still.

Now can you please answer my questions? Do I tape the end of the QSBs? The tutorial for the CR4 XL says to not solder the tip.

Which point do I solder the tip of the NandX v3 board? There are two small points side by side. Is there a problem if those bridge?

This shows you the points better ignore the obviously unrelated stuff but is shows the qsb in detail. The STBY_CLK point is r4b24 be careful do not burn/lift the pad etc. Im not sure what you mean about bridging points? If you are talking about the solder points on the qsb no why would you want to have them bridged you don't want that.....

r4b24 and r4b25? you are meaning? No do not bridge them. Only solder to the points that are shown. Bridging will cause problems.
