It is not allowing me to thank you. Thank you.R4B24. With the qsb properly lined up they should not bridge.
post a pic of you qsbsI really wish that link was helpful but I am not seeing what you are trying to show me. Those QSBs are completely different from what I have. It shows how to wire it with wires instead of the QSB. I just really wish someone would answer my specific questions without referring to some pictures I have already looked at and still have questions.
It is not the hardest spot to solder to so practice more if you are not comfortable. This type of mod is not for your first soldering projectAud_clamp is a type of jtag wiring, which is suggested because argon/rol jtag causes issues with the rol. So depending on the jtag qsb you have, if v1 connect a wire to the spot that would be connected to the resistor, and if you have a v2 qsb, bridge points 2 and 3, and hook the wire to the pad. solder the other end of the wire to the right pin on q2n1. then make an r-jtag aud_clamp xell and image. it isnt rocket science, and the guide covers all of this with images.
The pic shows a V2 qsb you have a V3 they are not completely different just updated.....I am confused as to why you are confused? If you want to know what the qsb points do look at the wire install images in jrunner and compare the point to the qsb that should answer all the questions really.I really wish that link was helpful but I am not seeing what you are trying to show me. If this was my first soldering project I would not be attempting it. I was the top of my Digital Basics and Basic Electricity Courses. I have taken Motors and Controls and Industrial Electronics classes. I am not a noob to working with digital systems or PCBs in any manner.Gavin explained it pretty well here in this post

no one is calling you an idiot mate , but how hard can it be to follow a tut that as been set out , I have seen some silly questions asked on here but you are asking questions that don't need to be askedIf this was my first soldering project I would not be attempting it. I was a Wind Power major and have alot of legitimate training behind me. I have a flux pen my soldering iron with small tip, some 63/37 solder so that it melts quicker.
I don't understand why you all start out assuming anyone that asks a questions is an idiot. I just have some things to clarify before I begin. I am trying to upload pictures. It will take a while to figure out why the load pictures button is not opening an upload window but I will post it when I can.
No where did I imply you were an idiot full stop. Secondly to put things in perspective the provided links in question I posted not because I knew exactly where to find them but because I used google. Took less than a minute to find. Imaging what you would know if you took a day or two the understand the process before modding. The difference in understanding is I have done this before and you have not apparently. The qsb install is a straight forward one. Please don't start accusing people of not being helpful enough. My QSBs. I have all the information I need for the JTag QSB and the Nand x small QSB. I am would still prefer to avoid the Q2N1 connection if possible. Why mess with something if it is unnecessary? I am unlear currently on the Aud clamp thing.
I am going to solder the boards on that I know how to. Then I am going to refresh myself on the idea of using a rater. I would like to become familiar with this.
Please stop cluttering my support thread. If you are not going to answer the questions I am specifically asking can you please refrain from posting. Thanks.how hard can this be , you have the cr4 , you have the qsb's , you have the board , read and follow this
