Hi Guys

This my first post on the forum and I will like to thank first all of you for all the information and support give in the froum

Second I will like to Install on my Xbox 360 (Phat-Jasper,never touch) the CR4 XL and for what i read I need the following:

CR4 XL
TX-CR4 Phat complete QBS Install Kit
JR Programmer V2

the thing is I can not find anywhere the TX-CR4 Phat complete QBS Install Kit, I have only find in the stores is the SLIM TRINITY QSB V3

Can any one tell me if there is a replacement for the CR4 Phat complete QBS Install Kit or what I should do?

For what I read this is the only way to Mod my Xbox 360 but if there is a new way o better way to do it let me know

In advance Thanks for your help

For RGH2+ you dont need the QSBs. The only hack that requires a QSB is the R-Jtag+. for the JTAG wiring, and you can do that with some diodes. I would wire for RGH2+, as it is easier. R-Jtag+ is a good fall back, if you dont like the boot times you get with rgh2+. Also RGH2+ is a 5 wire install, vs the 6 wire install of the R-JTAG+, and the JTAG wiring. As for nand R/W those points are also on the motherboard, you just cut the qsb ends off the wires, and solder the wires directly to the points on the board.

Thanks for your advice, I just search in the forum on how to wire with no QSB and I find how to do it, Thanks a lot

1 more question what is the difference on the RGH2+ vs the R-Jtag, Only the booting time?

They are 2 different hacks. RGH2+ is RGH2 with the smc speedup, and cpu slowdown code in the smc. this saves you one wire, and allows the console to "reset" faster. R-JTAG+ is R-JTAG with RGH1 style wiring, which is a better way to slow down the cpu, for more precise timing.Really the big difference is when the pulse gets sent to the CPU. Also, if you are planning on running something like RGLoader instead of freeboot, it is better to run the RGH2+, as RGloader doesnt support JTAG without a lot of work on your end. Either way, unless you plan on creating homebrew, forget about RGLoader, as that is off topic. Some people have reported RGH2+ to be more stable on their console, and others have reported the opposite. It really depends on the console. So try them both, and see what gives better results.
