hi all,

I have done a couple of rgh 2.0 installs using the cr4 xl and qsb's

I now wish to install a cr4 xl into a jasper, using RGH 2.0 method and no QSB's (wires only)

Can someone please confirm that it is only a 5 wire install as follows:

red and black = 5v supply

C = FT6U7

G = C7R112

E = DB1F1

Is this it? As I noticed that using the QSB method, the end of the qsb gets soldered to the tiny point next to the hana chip. R4B24

Is a wire, perhaps the B pad needed to be connected to this small point?

Any help welcomed.

THank you

great thank you for confirming.

Out of curiosity - when carrying out an rgh 2.0 install on a phat using the QSB's. Is there any need to solder the small point at the end of the qsb that is near the hana chip?, R4B24.

Or is this only essential for a jtag style install?

Many thanks

I just re read the tutorials, and I have just found the sentence stating that the small end point of the jtag QSB does not need soldering.

However, I find nothing in the tutorials stating that for an rgh 2.0 install, the end point of the QSB adjacent to the hana chip does not need soldering.

Anyhow, I am not using QSB's and my original question was answered,

Thank you
