Hello Everyone.
I'd done a few CR Rev C Phat's in the past.
This is my first CR4 XL on a Slim (Trinity).
Everything went smoothly. Although it took me a while to remember all of the steps in reading / flashing the nand etc.
Anyhow, I'm getting anywhere between 1 and 10 glitches to boot.
My main question is, what is the procedure for tuning the CR4?? I've looked around the forum and googled but am not finding any good advice on how you get your best settings.
It seems like there should be a sticky for this. Something like "How to get started tuning your CR4 XL".
I'm afraid to do much because I don't want to damage anything.
Here are some specific questions:
Is there a list somewhere of how these switches work?
How to know when you find your center timing?
How to know if a cap should be used?
Do the caps have polarity?
Should I use the POSTBIT Jumper?
Please don't tell me that I am just supposed to randomly experiment with all of these things.
Sorry for all of the noob questions. I'm handy with a soldering iron, etc. but I'm no electrical engineer.
