CR4 XL with CR3 IPEX Cable?

[SOLVED] CR4 XL with CR3 IPEX Cable?

So I'm about to RGH for my first time
I have a Jasper btw.

I'm getting the:
CR4 XL
J-R Programmer v2
USB Nand update cable
Phat QSB v3

All I need now is an IPEX cable (cuz everyone recommends it)
My question is can I use a CR3 IPEX cable together with all the stuff above and still have good results(boot times etc) or does it have to be a CR4 IPEX cable?
Can't get a CR4 one.. that's why I'm asking

Yes that cable will work with what you have I never used it just the wires that came with cr4

an ipex cable is an ipex cable,itll work fine.

Who's recommending you get it? Most people around here don't use it. You can try it but you shouldn't get it in your head that it will be better the standard wire. Try both if you wish and see which is better.

Cool but just don't waste to much time trying to get it working well with the IPEX before deciding to try the standard wire. I guarantee that will be the first thing that will be suggested if you post here for help with tuning.
