crashed hdd

my hdd crashed in my v1.6B xbox. I put in a new hdd. When I power on the xbox I get a blue screen that says flashbios 3.0.1. I have downloaded all files I thik I will need. I am just not sure how to proceed. Can someone help me.. I was told I need to flash the bios. but I'm not positive how to do it. I have an x3 chip installed.

Check your switch settings which should either be ON ON OFF OFF or OFF ON OFF OFF.
Also, u sure you got a 1.6B? Generally FlashBIOS 3.0.1 but there have been cases where it has worked.

If none work, you probably need to reflash.. for some reason you are missing the X3 bios. Follow the tutorial for flashing, http://teamxecuter.com/flashbios

I am pretty sure it is a 1.6B. It has the Xcalibur video and the Hynix Ram. I will try to reflash and see what happens.... Thanks..
