Hello guys, i'm new in this world and i never hacked my switch before, today i bought a license but now i'm on OFW 7.0.
Can i create an emuNAND on my micro SD and then downgrade it to 6.2 in order to run the CFW?

Unfortunatly, I dont think it will boot into the loader that allows you to create the emunand. I could be mistaken about this though. I would dump the og nand with 7.0, and then downgrading using memloader, and choidujour. Then try to create the emunand. Once you have a working emunand, or if it doesnt work, write back the OG nand with hekate, and you should be good, assuming you did it correctly.

Here is a guide for the downgrade: https://gbatemp.net/threads/how-to-...nofficially-without-burning-any-fuses.507461/

Thanks a lot, I have to enable autoRCM to do that or is fine to go in RCM mode with the jig?

The SX bootloader will still launch. The 7.0 update will stop CFW from launching. You can try to create an emunand (some people have said you need to use the hidden partition for this particular situation), then use Choijudour from your computer to try and downgrade the emunand to 6.2. I have never used the PC version so I can't guide you there.

As said above make sure to make a nand backup of 7.0 just in case something goes wrong.

In my opinion it would be better to just wait for 7.0 support. While there is no ETA from TX or any other the other CFW that I have seen you could end up in a worse situation than just not booting CFW.

Ok thanks, I'll try to search how to downgrade emuNAND with PC application, for now I've already searched something but I can't find any guide to do that o_O
I know that are some risks to downgrade a sysNAND, but i think that downgrading emuNAND doesn't have any risk for the console... or maybe not?

i just downgrade from 7.0.0 ofw to 6.1.0 with this guide
https://guide.sdsetup.com/#/manualchoidowngrade

in step 11 for system folder/files delete everything in the drive when you mount, and then copy the folder/files you created during the ChoiDujour part in step 4

if you dont do this ^ part you will get an error when you try to boot up for the first time

im currently creating an emunand and will be updating later

Any luck with this at all? I have successfully downgraded and can boot via atmosphere, but sx os when booting cfw just results in a black screen, any ideas? Please help!

It wont boot without RCM, but might put flags on in the downgraded image, that you are booting into. Since in the end, once you have a working emunand, you will want to reflash back the original dump, which will undo AutoRCM anyway, but you will have a working emunand on the sd card. So, I leave that option up to you.

Personally, I prefer autorcm, as it makes things easier.

Anyone who has downgraded from 7.0 will have a problem with booting into SX OS. This is not the fault of SX OS, it is the fault of the downgrade process, it does not properly handle boot 0/1

After your downgrade, you will need to use ChoiDujourNX to reinstall your current firmware overtop of itself to correct this issue, then SX OS will begin working again.

I can't count how many times I have said on the forums that downgrading is a bad idea, but people do it anyway.
For some users who has upgraded sysnand to 7.0 (burned fuse) and does not have any nand backup.
If they want to use SX today, they have no choice but to downgrade their sysnand.
Or they have to wait until SX supports 7.0 or 7.0.1

I have guided a lot of users doing this but yes, it is a long and painful process.
Not recommended.

No choice but having the choice to wait or downgrade.

A little patience goes a long way.
If user want to use SX "today" is there no other choice but to downgrade. (For user without emunand 6.2 or lower).

If user can wait, they have many choices.

And why would it be so pressing as to risk problems with downgrading? Official TX stance is to please be patient for proper support as your original games will work just fine.
I agree with you.
But users/customers are always picky and need everything.
