RGH create rgh nand with only a cpu key?

Flashed a ecc on nand and have coolrunner installed correctly. Retrieved the cpu key and then realized i dumped 16mb of a jasper that is a 512mb. Soooo, I wrote the 16mb back and dumped 64mb, no bad blocks reported on either dump, but no nand tools (tried several) see it as a valid nand. I am guessing I would need a donor nand now. Is it possible to create a valid nand image with only cpu key? Maybe my original nand can be repaired, but i don't know how to go about it with tools available. Thanks for any help!

you need a donor 64mb nand and rebuild it with your KV info :D

great, many thanks! i will do some more searching on that. can you recommend a program to use? i used easy freeboot to create a nand with donor files and my cpu key, then i ran it through jtag tool for the rgh, but when i boot up with that nand i get black screen and flashing green on the front rol board. i noticed that when i boot up with eject, i get a scrolling screen with xell reloaded, i think maybe i managed to create a pal nand? (i am ntsc).

Are you sure the 64 is bad? ecc only modifies a few of the blocks on the front end so I don't see how you could have messed up the nand.

Although, I suppose at this point since you've written it even more you've probably killed any hope of recovering the original

OK, so i flashed ecc back on there to get it not scrolling anymore. xell reloaded boots up from both eject and power on, as expected. i then took a donor jasper 512 (64mb) nand i had and ran it through multibuilder 0.4 to make an rgh image, then i loaded into 360 flash dump tool and inserted the new cpu and dvd key. i flashed that image to the box, but still get a flashing green light on rol board and black screen. if i boot up with eject i get xell reloaded. any suggestions? i assume the cr is ok as it boots to xell and soldering all looks good. i have a feeling i am missing something i need to do within 360 flash dump tool.

fixed it! i went back to the drawing board and opened both the original 16mb dump and the 64mb dump in hex editor. compared them and found that even though i had written the original 16mb back, which should have made the first 16 of the 64 the same, it was actually not. so i replaced the first 16mb of the 64mb dump and loaded the result into 360 Flash tool and it now recognized as a valid nand, yay! used that nand to create rgh nand and flashed back with success. thanks to all that replied!
