Creating my own DVD to swap with

I don't own any DVD's over 7.5 GB. Can anyone show me how to make my own DVD+R DL disk to do the swap method with?

Guys correct me if I am wrong but I believe it may have to be an original DVD.

Well it HAS to Be a Movie. it cant be a disc full of dummy data.
i just took one of my brothers dvds and copied it since it was the correct size.
