Hello guys,
Actually I want to post here: http://team-
xecuter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73461
But i cant because I'm still a noob and cant post
there
There is one thing that still confuse me. Well not
confuse, but doubt. To quote thespeedracer38 on
step 3: "(note: unscrabbled c0deguys firmware is
required)". Is this mean using the firmware from this
page: http://codeguys.rpc1.org/firmwares.html
LiteOn iHAS124 B (SATA)
• AL0L - stock
LiteOn iHAS224 B (SATA, Lightscribe)
• GL08 - stock
LiteOn iHAS324 B (SATA, Smart-Erase)
• AL18 - stock
LiteOn iHAS424 B (SATA, Smart-Erase, Lightscribe)
• GL18 - stock
LiteOn iHAS524 B (SATA, Smart-Erase, LabelTag)
• AL27 - stock
LiteOn iHAS624 B (SATA, Smart-Erase, Lightscribe,
LabelTag)
• GL27 - stock
I'm still new with the crossflashing and want to get
more information before i try to kill my drive , so
please help me... Thanks before.

yes that looks like the correct firmware's. but it would be best if possible to just buy a iHas because cross flashed drives tend to become a pain sometimes but hey you might be a lucky one :) up to you thats just my 2 cents.

ok, I burned 1 and its fail the verification at 49%. It must be the media because I burned with the iHAS drive with same problem.

testing using kprobe2 (i dont know if this affect for a verification failed disc):

With cheaper media people have better results by going into the drives advanced properties in imgburn and enabling force hyper tuning and online hyper tuning.

With cheaper media people have crap results regardless of drive settings.
AMEN!! Really there's no option, verbatim all the way. Other discs may work and burn but trust me they slowly stop working. At one point I resulted to throwing the backup into a piece of steel smashing it to bits and going back to the original :p never had that problem with verbs ;)
