a while ago i updated my jtag to the kinnect dash and loaded a fair few games to the hd, yesterday i decided to play crysis 2 and the old message of it needed to do an update to work came up so i didnt go any further, is this just a case of removing the update folder from the game or is it time to do another update to my box?

thanks fistycuffs, i know not to accept any updates, but i also know that i can update myself via usb using modified update data. there is no chance of the box ever going on live!
ill just rip the update folder from it and see if it works. My only problem is lack of internet access at the moment (its like having your hands cut off!) thanks for the quick reply

Either update your freeboot to 12625 or install Dashlaunch 2.21. There's nothing wrong with doing both of these!

im sure it was an update for the game itself. I play crysis 2 on mine no problem. there is always a title update. title is okay system is not. 12625 is the latest so that should be all you need for now to play any games. For now!
