Sooo... When you do a custom FW like 2.0... can you still use your Kinect on backed up copies (of your own games)? Or is there anything special to do?

Makes no difference to the kinect sensor if the game is an original or backup. Just backup and burn your games as you normally would.:)

I tried, with JD2 for Kids. Right off the bat, they got into a fight and dropped it so before they could damage it and thats another 49.99 and a hour trip to get another disc, I backed it up. Put it in and it wont read the Kinect is connected, but I put back in the Kinect Adventures that came with the Kinect and it works fine.. So was just wondering.

Kids are hell on discs.

There have been a few things batted around that the Kinect sensor may be doing some error / copy checks of its own. This have been found to be a bit of an issue with Forza 4 when using the sensor. Keep loggins what is happening, and this may help find out what is acctually happening.

well i have all the originals, i only have 8 games and made backups of them so the kids wouldnt kill them... but when i seen it wouldnt work with the Kinect i was like "wtf" the game would start but then it would get to where you put your hand out to start it it would say no kinect plugged in... So i cleaned the orig and stuck it in x360 and it worked, so i just made another copy, its really scratched and they had it dirty... so i dont know if that effected it... but there other game is laggy, doesnt pick up as quick and you have to make big motions for it to pick up the movements, but if you throw in the orig it acts like its suppose to...
