ANSWERED Cygnos no blue led - faulty?

I know this forum is only for TX but cygnos forums are dead and im sure most of you have also relized this.

Well ive installed cygnos before and never had this problem. I did order this chip from sweden and im in usa so it took 30 days to arrive, besides that being rather onoxious to wait for this chip. it doesnt seem to work, ive soldered directly to the 3.3 and ground but the cygnos = dead no blue led nothing... I have also switched it to on and off console boots GGBUILD image either way with ease.

My question is before asking for a new one or a refund from these guys by the way there site is 01media or something... i dont recommend they dont respond for weeks...

should i try any alt points to power this chip or no is it safe to assume its dead?

Im assuming you have scanned the board for shorts?

Might as well post pics of soldering, sometimes the problem is as easy as soldering to the wrong point.

thanks but i ran some tests.... and the chip is faulty the supplier is shipping a new one becuase of this mistake.

vcc to 3.3 and ground to ground... cygnos is shorting out the xbox. bad resistor or somthing that i havent figured out yet but its for sure the chip.
