Hi everyone,

I am trying to setup a dual nand setup with a cygnos rev.E and a coolrunner 2 on (2 different slims).
Soldered first cygnos, hooked up to pc,read nand in seconds and had a perfect dump,no problem.
With the second console it wasnt that easy...:frown:
I soldered the cygnos and could not get it to read the nand.i double checked all wires with the multimeter and even tried another cygnos. No success. At first the cygnos was recognized but couldnt read the nand because 2 wires melted together and were bridged.I fixed it but still no luck.It shows up as connected and when I switch the cygnos switch it shows as xbox360 or cygnos nand.Toolbox 1.05 just freezes when i click read and toolbox 1.10 shows the correct flashconfig but also freezes upon reading. It cant be a pc problem because when i plug in the other cygnos slim it reads without problems within seconds.
The only difference in the 2 boards is the not working one shows 3 invalid blocks in toolbox 1.10 : 3,4 and 721.
Here`s a screenshot of toolbox 1.10:

Am kinda out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Wrong forum being that this is the TX Forum and TX didn't make the Cygnos. Not only that, but those who made the Cygnos gave up on it!

Honestly, just wait for the Demon. If you do not know what the Demon is, it's TX's version of the Cygnos, a dual-nand solution that works with the CoolRunner. It will be easier to install, work better, and you will have the forums for full support. Additionally, it will be priced well, probably about $20-25 for the version that does not have the CoolRunner built it.

I just had this problem i could read xbox nand and write to it but not the cygnos nand it locked up the pc. I sorted it by resoldering refluxing points D0 to D7....I cant wait for the demon these cygnos are too much trouble about 18/19 solder points and still got to fit a relay yet :s
