i have a 1.4 or 1.5 vs xbox with a xecuter2.6ce mod. i installed the harnessed wires following the diagram on this site. when i get to the three bundled wires( grey, red, and green) i install them and my xbox frags out. well i pull those wires out and it starts up fine(blue led lights up) but go's right to microsoft dash. ive narrowed it down to the gray wire(d0) that frags out my xbox. now ive found a diagram here that says the gray wire goes on the back of the motherboard and ive also seen a diagram that says that it goes on the front near the other wires. ive tried soldering both ways several times but no luck. could someone please tell me whats really going on.oh i did the wire install with the flashbios 303. ive also tried flashing with three diffrent bios.PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

If you frag with the d0 wire connected then your d0 must be correct because it is trying to boot on the modchip. Check your LPC wire installation for proper soldering and install back your d0 wire.

well should i connect the d0 to the back of the motherboard or the front. ive found two diffrent examples for the mod chip i have. one from this site and one from a site that sells xecutor 2.6ce.

D0 will not cause a frag
the problem lies somewhere within the lpc of your install
make sure you have good solder connections throughout your work
you can use a magnifying glass to check it over properly

Yup, listen to him. It could also be your switches that are causing the problem. If the LPC area checks out, take a look at your switches.
