Hi folks... Wonder if you can answer a question for me (Sorry I don't have an Xbox mobo to look for myself at the mo but am installing an X3 on a 1.4 tomorrow).

It is ref the D0...I have just been looking at the installation guide for the LPC rebuild PCB for the 1.6 and noticed that a track appears to run from pin 11 on the pin header to a point related to the the D0 point on the mobo (Via the large D0 connector on the rebuild PCB). Presumably, the 1.4 board that I will be installing on will already have this track in place.

My question is, on a 1.4 (or any non 1.6)mobo, can I just solder the D0 wire to pin 11 on the header connection rather the troublesome D0 point.

Seasons greetings anf TA! in advance

Sorry, I am a d**k. I have looked again and realised that this is not a direct track (other components are in line)

Please dont try what I suggested

JTAG Newbie

Hi all,

I don't know if this is the right section, but I hope it is :D

I am completely new to the JTAG scene, I just purchased one and the first thing I must do is install the various kinds of "software" so let's start with that.. What "software" do I install, because I've read various things about XeXmenu and Freestyle Dash and FSDindexer... I just don't know what to do next? And am I right that I can use FTP to do all of this installing?

As you can see, I am completely lost.. so can anyone help me?

I'm sure there will be more JTAG related questions from me later on, but let's start with the basics shall we?
