d0 trouble

I've installed the X3 into my brothers 1.6 and the xbox boots fine however the mod is disabled. I realize this is a d0 problem and the post about quick fixes re-affermed it. I'm sick of this trial and error to see if I have got it right and was wondering if there was a point on the mother board where I can see if I have continuity before putting his xbox together just to find out I dont.
any recomendations? I am using the LPC rebuild PCB.

You don't have to rebuild every time.

All you need to do is put the motherboard in the Xbox, hold it down with one screw and connect the cables, leaving the HDD and DVD ROM out.

If it's working, then you'll still get the blue X3 although it will stop before you see the X3 logo.

download and read the jungleflasher tutorial from jungleflasher.net

your version of liteon start on page 81 and follow the instructions word
for word and you should be ok.
