Thanks to a big old sign erected at the LA Convention Centre ahead of next week's E3 (thanks, Polygon), we can now narrow down Dark Souls 2's release date to sometime in March next year. Taking up one of the most prominent outdoor ad spaces at the convention centre, the Dark Souls 2 placement features the game's name, the words 'March 2014' and little else. However, it also included logos for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, suggesting the absence of a next-gen release, for now at least. This news makes me both happy and sad in equal measure. On the plus side, I now have a month to mark in my calendar, providing I go out and buy a calendar first. On the other hand, March is nine months away, and that's an awful long time to go without praising the sun or engaging in jolly co-operation.
