Dash 14699 Kinect/Avatar Update - How to get working?

I'm wondering how to get a dashboard update for a jtagged console with 14699 that needs the update for kinect and avatars still. I tried using the one off the microsoft site and it doesn't work. So far i've read possibly putting a line in the launch.ini which reads:


[Settings]
noupdater = false


BUt that didn't work either. Any tips or help?

your right the OP is trying the impossible two different updates so he either updates the Jtag to 14717 and use the M$ update you got then or you need to search for 14699 M$ update and use that..

Anyone know where to find the 14699 update from microsoft? Searching right now and finding nothing.

The 14717 update doesnt work anyways it just errors out and doesn't install. Not sure what else to try myself.
