Dash 2.0.14719 Strange problem

I followed the tutorial to the letter and managed to update my dash, Thank you for supplying such a wonderful and helpful guide,
and with the help of Martin C i got the avatar update and my 360 is all good and groovey once more, but i have one small problem.

The (X) center button , not the X button, on my joypad no longer works properly, after a long press you still get the option to turn the console off,, but i no longer get the sub menu,,,

did i do something wrong?

I dont know what tut you used but kinda sounds like it could be the ini dashlaunch file.

I think it asks if you would like to have the guide button give access to hub or something like that.

I concur with the reply, check your launch.ini file. As it may have been rendered in-op by the launch settings.

its ok i sorted it,,

i should have read the help section on creating a ini file before posting my question,, however its all good now,,

i just had to untick nohud and nosyexit and its back

hope my lack of knowlage helps someone else lol
