Okay, so we've got my friend's jtag up and running with FSD. However, some of the games won't play (for example, Dirt 3 wants to do an update, won't play without).
I've tried using Easy Freeboot and other similar programs to update the NXE's dash version, without success.
I asked the seller if he had the original NAND, thinking that would do the trick. He said no, but asked "When you installed dashlaunch, did you disable the console from seeing updates? You need to do that and I don't think it'll complain."
Does anyone know if he's onto something? Do I not need to update the dash, but instead flip a switch to stop it from seeing things like this? What do we need to do here?
