ok got a 2.6ce and a 1.6 xbox i have flashed the chip with m8_16 and this seems to work ok, i have put slayer 2.6 on the xbox on partion c, now all works well untill i want to play a dvd or have a game inthe box and use the joypad to run the game from disc ,all that happens is i go to the loading screen on slayer and thats where it stops until i reboot the box and it plays straight away, is this anything to do with the m8 bios, if it is what should i bee useing or is it other things many thx lumpy

X2 5032 v16 plus bios the way to go m8 sh*t
did you use a auto installer to install dash

Yes the problem is with M8. In order for it to work properly, it has to be in bank 2. But, M8 pales in comparison to 5035. Just be sure to use the bin file for a 1.6 Xbox.
