Dashboard Installation

Well I finally got my BIOS flashed. I used three different softmod exploits to install a dashboard. First, I use the Softmod Installer Deluxe 2.0. In Splinter Cell, when I launched it, it went to a white screen, and then rebooted Splinter Cell. For Krayzies Ndure Installer, I got to where I installed the dashboard. When it was done it said it was going to power off, and when you turn it back on, you will go to the shadow whatever screen (forgot name). Then, for Krayzies UXE installer, I installed it flawlessly. Then when I rebooted my Xbox, it would stay in the boot up screen. So then I turned the chip off, and I got the dashboard I installed. But if that dashboard is on the part where the chip is off, I can not get on LIVE. So what can I do to install a dashboard. I prefer the newest version of UnleashX. Help please.

How can I get unleashX on there when I have the MS Dash and the X2 5035 BIOS?

You could use any of the autoinstallers, or make a bootable disc with UnleashX and copy it over. Then just edit the config file to look for UnleashX.

You don't put an installer on your Xbox, you use the installer to put programs on your Xbox. You download it and burn it to a CD/DVD and boot with that in the drive.

can't really give you the exact details on AIDv3. You'll have to Google a bit but ...

1. I think that you should be able to burn the original xISO straight onto a blank DVD disc and boot up your xbox with the disc inside OR

2. I remembered that when I went through the process, you download the original xISO onto your PC, then I use another program (can't remember the name) for adding more files/programs into your ISO (such as dummy file). The same program is used for making an xISO. from there on, it's a simple matter of burning to a blank DVD (make sure to set to low writing speed) and follow step 1 above.

you still haven't an answer for DJBOOBY yet regarding the question "why did you do a softmod install if you got a chip". I'd like to know too.
