Dashboard Problems?

I have installed the Xecuter 2.6 CE lite into a version 1.5 xbox. I flashed my bank 2 BIOS with the X2 5035 BIOS and it worked but now when i turn my XBOX on it goes throught the Xecuter Rox My Box loading sequence but then it goes to the Microsoft Dashboard. I am using FUJIFILM DVD+RW's to install Slayer's auto install onto it but it says it can not read disc, disc must be dirty or damaged.

Also when i turn my modchip off and restart the xbox it flashes red and says i need service done. I thought that you were able to start the xbox without the modchip enabled in order to play XBOX LIVE. I do not want to get banned so I dont want to play with the modchip on. Also when the mod chip is enable and it logs into the Microsoft dashboard and says XBOX LIVE is not responding so therefore i could not play XBOX LIVE with the mod chip enabled.

A few questions
1) How to i get the slayer auto install to work?
2) Why wont the XBOX start without the mod chip on?

Any help would be great, thanks.

I did exactly the same thing, dont know what it was we did but i did it and i fixed it, keep your hopes up and never give up.

I used LOGIK CD-RW 4-12x 's and they worked perfect, dont use old CD's they wont work, buy some new ones.

Oh yeah by the way I had to lock the Hard Drive (HDD) with bank 1 before I could start the xbox up without the modchip ON.

Is this the original HDD or a replacement?

So the lesson here is not to mess with stuff you don't understand!!

The stock HDD is locked by default. At some point you decided to unlock it. Don't go messing in future!

I mentioned it because this was the only problem you had with the chip disabled and was self inflicted!! Had you mentioned you had unlocked the HDD, it would've made a lot more sense
