This is like my 4th time modding my xbox w/ cfw. I currently have the samsung ms25, but I believe I spoofed it at some point as a ms28. Unsure if that has caused issues. It has been on cfw LT+ 2.0 I believe, for about a year now.

From the statement's below it sounds as though I can update the dashboard (june 2012) without reverting back to official firmware?

This would be great as it seems my via card has either stoped working or is incompatible w/ my new system. "hangs on system boot"

Q: Do I need to update to LT+ before updating to the new Dashboard ?
A: No, you can update to the new dashboard at anytime - just don't put a backup of an AP25 game unless you have LT+ firmware flashed to your drive as you will be flagged for a ban.

AND..

If your original system is ORIGINALLY Samsung (not a refurb returned as a Samsung) then just use a Samsung drive flashed with LT v1.0. You can use the latest dashboard and you dont have to patch your AP25 games as the drive does not have AP25 built in.

after the dash 13146 update the Sammys ms 25 and ms 28 are the same thing now...there is only 1 stock firmware and only 1 lt2.01 for them
it is recommended to flash back to stock before updating...did say recommended

think that should be LT2.01

So it looks like my via card is out of service.

Would my Onboard sata work? I have Gigabyte GA-880GMA-UD2H w/ the AMD SB850 Sata 6gbs.

Also my dashboard is: 2.0.13604.0 And I am pretty sure I am LT+2.0, I recall 2.01 came out a month after I updated it.

re: I have no Tx, tools? I just use the brick to power up the drive, & put it in service mode w/ drive half way open if jungle did not do it.

right near the beach :)
Tray half-open is only if the drive is on iXtreme 1.5 - 1.61. LT+ doesn't do half-open. People have been having generally lousy luck with 6GB ports. What's going on with your VIA card? Can't install the drivers? Nothing showing up on the ports?

UPDATE:

I got the VIA card working w/ a different system. Works great actually. Problem is, I read the firmware, spoofed it with the Post Samsung OFW (Samsung_Post_13141) as instructed in the jungle flasher guide. Now that it has the OFW, I went to update it to the June 2012 Dashboard update via usb and while it was updating I got the error code: E66.

Are there any solutions for this?

Also w/ the e66 black/white message on screen it had *1 blinking red light lower right corner.
