LITEON DG-16D2S dashboard update question

Just had issues with lite-on phat 1.9 not running nfs (black Screen). After updating abx to 1.0.5 and LT + 1.91 the disc is recognized and shows the game art on the dashboard; however it still goes black screen.... now after some research I noticed Im on dashboard version 12625... is it safe to update the dash board 13599 running 1.91? or should i go back to 1.9, update dash, then flash to 1.91?....

This console is strictly for back ups. No XBL. dont want a brick

Revert your drive back to stock firmware, update your console's dashboard to the latest (13599) and then reflash LT 1.91.

Always flash back to stock before updating the dashboard. After the update, flash LT+ v1.91 and all should be fine.

Thanks... Now when you guys say stock FW, can i use a bin from the OFW folder included in the Firmware pack? ... if so what the best method to determine the proper orig- file?

I think you can use any OFW relevant to your drive (748, 838, 934). As long as it contains your drive key, you are good.

use the stock fw thats for your drive in liteOn pre 13141 folder.

what tools are you usein.

JF 1.86... think im not pressing the erase liton button to get into vmode.... now in the stock folder there are quite a few options.... my FW rev is 7485

update your jf to new 1.87.
i think most use orig-74850C-1a000

Now I believe i should use my Dummy.bin from the previous flash as the source then place the proper stock fw in the target space, then spoof source to target?... once in vendor of course

1.92 is for slims only

LTPlus-025v1.91 for your drive once you updated your dash

you can use that yeah .but once you updated your dash.do a redump of your drive and get new dummy.

went back and spoofed... now i guess i cant try the erase

write verified ok!....outro/ATA reset.... now lets see if i can update the DB

well once you dump your drive.it will auto load the 1.91 for your drive.

that is if you have all the fw in the firmware folder of jungleflasher.

just use your old dummy as source.open target firmware and load LTPlus-025v1.9.bin then click spoof source to target
