RGH Dashboard update.

Hello, i got a rgh 360 slim 4gb (updated to 250gb) with trinity motherboard.
i have now Dashboard 16537 . Have created a new dashboard .bin file to 16767 with xebuild 2.094. Runing FSD 3.0. But never updated Dashboard before, so im a completed noob om this.

Got TX Slim proto v2 rgh. And my drive running ixtreme lt+firmware.

But can i update my consoll direct to 16767? And use simple nand flasher to do the job? Or best to use xell-reloaded xex?

Don't want brick, so asking before doing anything

if you have a nand flasher such as a nand-x or jr-programmer, then you can just wire it up and flash the image

other spi nand flashers work but you'll have to find the wiring diagram, connect it properly and on top of that you won't be able to use j-runner

j-runner has an update feature.. you should read about it and use that as I think its the easiest

OK, don't have any nand-x or nothing. Got a service provider who installed the tx chip .But he don't answers any mail etc. So i hoped it was a solution to update it trough a USB flash drive. :-/


all i can find is how to update the 4gb corona. Can i update the trinity the same way?

you can update through USB but if anything goes wrong, the console will be bricked until you wire a nand flasher directly

read about the j-runner update option

check out page 22 on jrunner pdf.this is easiest noob proof way to flash any console.

J-runner doesn't support 17148 yet.. you can create a 16767 image at this time

Thanks, sorry for my noobie quests. But when i downloaded latest systemupdate in jrunner, it downloaded "systemupdate_17148_usb.zip" file. Is these just avatars? So i can without no issues extract the zip file and put the $SystemUpdate folder under 16767 folder in the xebuild and update the dash?

After Dashboard update now my language says norwegian on xbox. But all text is in english.
Had norwegian before update. Nothing to do? Hm

No! Don't do that. If you want to install avatars and kinect data, you must use exactly same version, that you are currently running. So in your case, you need to download 16 767, else you will burn your Xbox.
j-runner downloaded latest available update. But currently it is not supported yet.

Download matching dashboard update, make sure you downloaded right one and update.
