LITEON 9504 Dashboard Upgrade without locking spi?

Hi to all, i've an xbox slim with liteon 9504 and dashboard version : 2.0.12625.

Now that Fifa 12 has been released, i want to upgrade the xbox dashboard. But as you know if i will do that my liteon come with "spi locked". Now my question is...

Can i upgrade my dashboard without locking spi? There is a way to do that?

No, just maker sure you do a full fw dump before your drive gets locked, then do kamikaze if its windbound or sputnik if it MXIC

update and play your retail.

if you got a mxic board in your drive it's easy to unlock it again after update.just get a sputnik switch

if it's winbond then you need a tx unlocked pcb after the latest update.or the kamikaze hack.

them are your options.

mind if you look in trade threads then you find guys sellin unlocked pcbs or might trade you.for your locked pcb.:tongue:

if i was you i would get the 13146 update.then update your xbox to the 13146 dash and then do a full dump of your drive.

I just have doing a full dump of my drive when i flash it with the first lt for slims. I see on other forum people asking for a 9054 spoof with the 0225 firmware...it's a fake?

Just for curiosity, if i my drive mount a mxic board, can i flash it with just a 10 ohm resistor? My motherboard is an Asrock p4i65 with an Intel® ICH5 chipset. In that case i have to buy some hardware...or i can flash my drive just simply with my mainboard chipset, as i just do with the first slim lt?

if it's a mxic board then just sputnik switch that board. simple

your chipset might work or may not.you can only try.and if it dont work then just get a usbpro.

I saw in another forum, that for flash with the new lt+ 1.9 i need a sata2 compatible chipset it's true? As i know my matherboard don't support sata 2 But i can tell for sure that with this mainboard i have successfully flashed this drive with the first lt+ for xbox slim. Yes i know too much question for you...but i don't want cut a pcb if i don't have the right mainboard to do that
