I say Evox but some say avalaunch I use evox because it has the New HD Install file and works great
but editing the .ini files is sorta unforgiving

They are both good dashboards. Why can't you have both?
Personally I use Avalaunch as my main dash and Evox as a backup.
I also have UnleashX and XBMC.
Avalaunch is regularly updated. Evox hasn't been updated in ages. That should say something.
