Do u still need Microsoft dash when you use Avaluanch or a similar dash. Any beeniefts to keeping the microsoft dash

You definately do not NEED the Microsoft Dashboard, but it is nice to have. It is a really simple interface to use when you just want to copy a cd to the harddrive or would like manage game saves. The main reason why people use it is because of Xbox Live, which needs to run (idealy) a completely unmodded Xbox

K i cant use xbox live, due to no ADSL. SO the dashs will be on different partions. How big would u make the patiotions on 120 gb drive. What goes on what partion then as well

Flashing gone bad (please Help)

I attempted to flash my Hitachi 79FL it said it was succesful. But it reads original games as dvd's. I know I messed the dvd key up but in the tutorails i watched they didn't saying anything about it. I used Jungleflasher. I do have the dvd key saved in a text file but my question is how to I put it in so I could make the drive read games(peferably flashed to read back-ups i made) but I just really need to get it working again. I am a total newb. I couldn't figure out how to put the dvd key back in since it is in a txt file a saved. I really need a step by step showing how to do it in jungle flasher since I dont know what I am doing and I dont want to mess it up more than it is. Please help

its pretty easy!

after you get your hitachi in mode b and unlocked, just click on the manual spoof circle

then you will be able to copy and paste your key into it
