I've been trying to search for a proper way of rebuilding my freeboot with dashlaunch implemented along with my patched smc aud_clamp and open tray setup.

I used Jtag Tool to flash my Nand and simply replaced the Xell SMC and Freeboot SMC with the proper ones. Everything is working perfectly aside from the occasional tray opening on boot.

I tried rebuilding using the available tutorials but so far none have worked because i'm assuming that the smc's included are using the default jtag points.

Need help installing dashlaunch with my current setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Since you have the Jtag Tool folder already set up for use with modified SMC etc, just get DashLauch v1.0 patches and replace the old patches already present in the "bin" folder of Jtag Tool folder. Also replace the patches in the sub-folders of the "bin" folder i.e. "XB1" and "Mem" folders with the new patches. Then create a freeBOOT image using Jtag Tool like you normally would and flash it straight to the console. All done ;)

I've tried that actually. Not sure why but i'm getting Invalid CPU Format when i try to create a bin with Jtag Tool. I'm pretty damn sure i'm using the exact key from my previous write.

Why don't you install Jtag Tool to a new location and redo the process again. It might work this way.

Thanks for the suggestions. Will give that a try now and hopefully works out.

Just wanted to clarify something Jtag Tool 1.74. Does the bug still exist with XB1 and Mem Edit options being swapped? Havent tested it yet but i thought it would save me the trouble if i asked.

Yeah, actually it does. That's why I said above to not only replace the patches present in the "bin" folder, but also to replace the ones present in the "XB1" and "Mem" folder with the new DashLauch patches too.

Also, although this shouldn't make any difference, but if you chose the "Memory" option in Jtag Tool, try to use the "XB1" option or vice versa next time.

Yup replaced all bins just to be safe. Turns out that Jtag Tool is not copy and paste friendly.

I was finally able to create my new bin successfully. Could i upload my new bin to hdd and use flash360 to flash it? Wanted to avoid opening the box again.

EDIT; flash was a success. Everything is working great! Now time to enjoy!

Thanks for all the help MAK. You're awesome!
