Need a little help with dashlaunch.

so i got dashlaunch from xbins and just extracted the installer dir to usb stick,
then i runed it in x360.

how I did understand the patch updater is build in, no need to update the patches with flash360 ?!

I cant get quicklaunch buttons to work when powering up console.

the launch ini is this way configured

[QuickLaunchButtons]
BUT_X = Hdd:\XeXMenu\default.xex
Default = Hdd:\Freestyle\default.xex
[Settings]
nxemini = true
pingpatch = true

Im booting fine into freestyle dash when powering up, but cant get to xexmenu when holding X button, the path of xexmenu is fine.

when i launch miniblades and go to xbox dashboard, holding the X button it wil boot into XeXmenu.

Is this the way how its work or I do something wrong?

not sure if you can run from your usb drive, or have you moved the files to your main hdd??

Tryed both ways, but cant get run choosen xex in launch.ini while holding X or any other button on powering up console.

have you even installed the files,which can also flash any patches you need??? and are you using freeboot9199.

when You mean files that DashLaunch install, yes they are installed, patches and etc...

I maked my freeboot image from freeBOOT-0.032 + 9199.zip.

btw, just a simple question, should it be possible to power up console, hold X or any other button to boot with any xex?Is the Dashlaunch maked to boot this way?

I read somewhere that freeBOOT-0.032 includes Dashlaunch patch, so is it meaned that dashlaunch isnt needed to be installed after a clean freeboot build with included patches (X1 compatibility), to get quicklaunch buttons work?

freeboot 0.32 contains the dashlaunch v1 patches, ive used this and quick launch buttons work and I have the xbox 1 emulator working.

hi, if you still havnt managed to sort it out, i think you maybe just need to edit the ( info-launch.ini )
to set up which button does what,

How i understand (searching and reading through posts) i must build a new freeboot image with ibuild and include patch from dashlaunch 2.01...

because there is no possibility to just apply the patch.bin from dashlaunch 2.01 to freeboot 0.32 that is already builded and flashed to nand

The installer is now much more robust, and can even flash the appropriate
patches to your console for you, all that is required is that you have
installed freeboot 9199


dont need to use ibuild just make sure you have freeboot9199 already which i think you 99.9% will..



Installation

- get the installer to a place where you can run it, and do so. Follow onscreen
instructions. The installer will prompt you if it needs to update the
freeboot patches and will give you an opportunity to configure the new
options

Bro just use BestPig ToolBox make a FreeBoot with your original Nand ..

which ever way you like bro but i have not had one problem with making custom freeboot with it smooth all the way as i said what ever is easy for you ;D

I cant get Dashlaunch 2.01 to recognize quicklaunch button on powering up,
with Dashlaunch 1.0 everything's fine.

files in Flash dir Dashlaunch related:
launch.ini
launch.xex
lhelper.xex

and they just there no where else...

the launch.ini :

I tryed DashLaunch 2.0 but i got the same isue, just the Dashlaunch 1.0 recognize QuickLaunch buttons on powering up.

btw everything elses is working with 2.01, when i restart Dashboard through miniblades and hold X i got into XeXmenu in this case, default is loading on system powering up too, so just the quicklaunch buttons aren't recognized on powering up.

Anyone have the same isue with DashLaunch 2.01 or 2.0?
