Hi
I have a question about DashLaunch, after I got my slim running with coolrunner I put FSD on a usb stick and run it from there I didn’t know about dashlaunch, I would like to install it now is that’s possible and how would I do that! is there a tut on it, I have looked on xbins for dashlaunch also but can’t seem to find it?

Your easiest bet would be to create a new image from your nand using the latest j-runner. Tick the box for dashlaunch and then tweak the .ini file to your liking. More details are in the tut that comes with your j-runner download.

Its not the only way, but its the easiest.

Yep I agree with crono1000, Jrunner is the easiest, otherwise you could just download dashlaunch from xbins, I think it's located here but not 100% sure

/XBOX 360/development/system apps/dash_launch/

I just looked at j-runner again I did include the dashlaunch patches that’s where the path is that runs the usb drive, under default it’s Usb:\FSD\default.xex and but x has Hdd:\Content\0000000000000000\C0DE9999\00080000\C0DE99990F586558

So I wonder why it’s not showing up in the miniblades?

Or you can download the installer, put it on a usb stick or similar and run it from xex menu. It will run you through the options on screen, just like the way coleman suggested. You just don't need to burn a disk everytime an update comes out.

I'm slightly confused... are you just looking to use dashlaunch to make amends to your system, or are you looking to install the app to your Xbox. If its the latter - listen to jmiko58 about downloading it. Then use xexmenu or fsd to use it. Easier than the miniblades thing, or the stock dash - which you can enter by holding RB when returning to dashboard

Add nxemini = true to your launch.ini, that will reboot your console into FSD as opposed to NXE.

You may also want to add dvdexitdash = false and xblaexitdash = false (both are set to FALSE by default if they are not found in the .ini) to return to FSD after exiting a DVD movie, game or XBLA title.

In the dashlaunch folder if you go download it, or on j-runner next to where you tick the box for dashlaunch

Edit your launch to this !
Code:
when set to true, using miniblades system setting options will not exit to NXE
; if not present this is set to FALSE
nosysexit = true

; when set to true, miniblades will not appear... ever (requested as child saftey measure)
; note that using this option overrides everything in dash launch that relies on miniblade exits to function
; if not present this is set to FALSE
nohud = false

; when set to false, xbox will be capable of finding system updaters
; if not present this is set to TRUE
noupdater = true

; 14699+ has native http functions, but you are forced to be logged into use them
; this patch removes that restriction, set to false to disable it if you have any problems
; if not set this value will be TRUE
xhttp = true; when set to false, ejecting a dvd video or game returns you to your default item, set to true to auto exit to NXE
; if not present this is set to FALSE
dvdexitdash = false

; when set to false, using the exit item in an XBLA game returns you to your default item, set to true to exit to NXE arcade menu
; if not present this is set to FALSE
xblaexitdash = false
BTW- will you please stop writing using this bold font ,why don't you use normal fonts like everyone do !
