Date and Time Settings

After X3 in the box. My system will not let me change the date / time. I know that i should be able to boot w/ mod off and i should be able to change date / time however i get the "Your xbox needs repaired" type message. I have not yet hooked the xbox onto the network yet. I noticed an sntp server setting (the network time protocall). Will this work to change my system date / time? please let me know

what number do you get when trying to boot disabled

Did you unlock your Hd at one point? Your HD must be locked to boot the M$ dash.

you can boot into your dashboard with the chip enabled (evox, avalaunch, etc.) then go to the file manager then launch the M$ dash in drive c:\ to set the date time, once set use the IGR to reboot back to the dash then do what you need to do. hope this helps.
