Date of maufacture?

ok so on my 360 the date of manufacture is 2006-05-07
Is is May 7, 2006 or July 5, 2006.

All the insides if my 360 say may 2006 but the dvd drive says it was made june of 2006. so how could i get a june drive in a may xbox?

So how it the date of maufacture coded on the back of the 360?

is it YEAR-DAY-MONTH
or YEAR-MONTH-DAY

Im confused, im trying to decode my friends date of manufacture so i can tell him what ROM verson he will have most likley. ANY help appreciated.

It's YEAR-MONTH-DAY

The shell and guts of the 360 are manufactured separately and the DVD drive is added after, that just means your May 360 sat for at least a month until the June DVD drive was added.

ok so what drive version do you think will be in a november 2006 360 which has a hitachi drive.
