BENQ Dead Benq

Just got an xbox with a dead benq drive, tried connecting it to my usb pro and ck3i, but jungleflasher cant see the drive, there is constant light in the laser, anyone know another way besides rgh to get the key from my drive

yes i have, dosen'r work either, can't even eject the drive

that sound like the drive has no firmware on it
will it eject when connected to ck3i?

By ths sounds of it even if you get the drive to detect it won't have the key on it anyway.
So you will have to do the glitch hack anyway

think this drive is really dead, can't even get it to respons in dosflash, only giver 0x80 all the time

If you think it is dead and not just locked and it has the key on it, send it to TeaJunkie. That guy has gotten a few keys for me. Great service and real fast. If you ship just hte PCB, shipping shouldnt be too bad.

What's the history of the drive? If the SPI has been erased then you're SoL. If the board has been damaged, then it's not too much hassle to lift the SPI and read the key from there.

well i finaly got some more cr units and after installing one and read the nand i found out of that the Benq dosen't even belong to the box, it was born with a lite-on
