RGH Dead board, Nand-X alternative power

Hi everyone,

I have a big deal with my Jasper.

I've done some "experiments" with nand-x and coolrunner tryng to unflag my console.

Unfortunately i've mess up something and now the board can't be powered anymore.

The power supply led remains orange and the console seems dead.


Now...I have a good nand image but I can't program it to the board because my Nand-X can't be powered, since the xbox seems to be not powered.


Have someone ever tried to power on the Nand-X from an extern power source? If yes, how can be done?

Can I try other methods to re-program my good nand image to the board or I have to throw it in the trash?

Check STBY_CLK (orange wire). If this has damaged the resistor next to it or pulled the trace, it won't boot.

Did you use my unflag guide (link in my sig) ?

I've followed your guide to Unflag via RGH but I've also done other stupid things (unsoldered QSB use it on another Xbox to retrieve a lost DVDKey then resoldered on my board, things like this)

I can try to change the little resistor connected to orange wire, probably I've burn it.

Do you know the resistor value? I have a soldering microscope in my office so I think I can try to change it.

You can find this small smc resistor on an old broken phat board.
I had to repair one slim with burned STBY_CLK and damaged resistor and I used one from xenon board. It's really tiny, but if you have good skills with soldering you can fix it.

I'm an idiot, I left the jumper in front of the resistor soldered. I've unsoldered it and the xbox magically booted
