LITEON 93450 Dead Drive after probing MPX01 using PhatKey

Hey There, title kind explains it all.

I got this console to update with LT+ 1.91, i did as usual but after i turned the 3.3v off and probed MPX01 the drive wont show up on JF anymore, it wont even power up!

I dont know if this can be relevant, but after removing the PCB i discovered it has been MRAed before.

Inspected everything and i dont know, cant find the reason that this PCB wont take power

As a note, i did another 5 consoles after this one and everything went fine so i dont think its a problem with my CK3, Probe, PC, etc...

I can post macro pics of the PCB if this can help bringint it back from the dead.

can you post a photo of the the pcb. and did the probe get hot?

Bandit: I did not plug the cable the wrong way, the drive worked fined and showed up in JF until i probed MPX01.

Tony: The Probe also did not get hot. Like i said everything is ok i just did another 73450C / 0251 with no problems

did you try power cycling drive a few times. what does the JF log show, when you probed?

Yes, just tried. The PCB wont take power

Seem that something have shorted and now pcb is fried :S

I dont know where your located, but give Teajunkie a shout. He's good with the possible dead board thing. If you didnt get the key before u possibly fried it he may be able to help.

did you test the soldered parts with multimeter? If you probed the correct points, it shouldn't burn the pcb...

Ok, good news.

Like i said, the pcb wasnt burnt at all... no components missing, etc...

So i decided to remove the solder using a braid and tried to read the firmware with the old MRA Hack.

Turns out IT WORKED! I got the key

But, after restoring the traces it still wont work. I had another PCB and wrote the firmware on it and it worked flawlessly.
