Hello all where should I start. I was starting to install the J2B1 and J2D1 QSBs. I finished the J2B1 QSB and was moving on to the J2D1 QSB. Right when I was starting to prep the solder points on the board my cat (she is still in the kitten stage) decided it would be fun to grab the soldering iron cord and try to run away with it in her mouth ( she likes to attack anything that moves). Which in turn ripped the Iron right out of my hand and knocked a little glob of solder off the iron and on to the NAND Pins. I tried to clean most of the solder off the pins with some desoldering braid. I got most of it off but now there is some solder stuck behind the pins which I can't get at it with the braid any ideas on how I can get the solder out from behind the pins?

Since my Camera sucks and takes crappy pics but decent video. I uploaded a video to you tube showing all the areas I soldered and the NAND pins. Keep in mind in this video I removed the one QSB I have already soldered on. The part showing the NAND pins is closer to the end of the video.

If I can't fix this no biggie I have already got a replacement Jasper 512 BB motherboard. I would just like to fix this to see if I can.

the nand chip will have to be lifted and cleaned, along with the nand pads, and then reseated. easy to do with the correct tools and skill.

i did something very similar, and it was the only way it could be fixed.

I wouldn't use braid. All you need is a good tip on your soldering iron and some flux. Clean your tip to remove any solder. Flux up the tip and quickly swipe the bridged pins on the NAND. It may take you a few try's but the iron should lift the access solder. I've used this method a 1000 times.

The flux will attract it to the braid.. and of course heat
